My name is Kat Van Gunten and I started Community of Presence Reiki with one intention: to provide affordable Reiki healing to the Cleveland area. I was first attuned in Holy Fire Reiki in 2016. I started Community of Presence Reiki 9 years later, after seeing time after time the impacts of Reiki on my own life and health, and that of my loved ones. I started giving Reiki to my cat when he hurt his leg and it made me want to practice more. My cat Bubs benefited physically from the Reiki energy, and he also seemed very relaxed afterwards. I then worked my way to humans! I received my second attunement in Holy Fire Reiki in 2024.

I love the feeling of giving Reiki and the innumerable benefits it offers people and animals. Receiving Reiki treatments helped me over the years during tough times.
